CAMELIDOS Y PREDADOR (Camels and Predator)

 

In a rocky overhang of the upper course of the river Loa located in northern Chile are 11 points of transit and meeting of the ancient inhabitants. In a stretch of 330 Km usually near by natural springs and on 2.00 meters above sea level we find Taira cave that stands out for its refined mural prints created over a very long period from 795 BC to 1440 AD. The different techniques and styles mixed as the years passed . The local camel was called “Guanaco”, and it is the wild animal that comprises most of the representations we find in this cave.
