CABALLOS EN EL RIO (Horses in the River)

It’s always a pleasure to depict horses in my art. This beautiful animal, so bound to man’s development. The Hippidion Saldiasi inhabited the south of Chile during the Pleistocene period. It was extinct before the arrival of the Spaniards to South America. Some remains was found in the famous cave Milodon located in the southern end of Chile.
